Question: Is this just a workout program?
Answer: Absolutely not! There is additional information you need that’s included in The Guide that will show you how to become the strongest, most awesome version of yourself.
You’ll discover EXACTLY how to forge a positive mindset with a step-by-step guide, no nonsense nutrition for eating to be awesome that’s completely diet free and void of obsessive eating habits, a step-by-step success guide, and other critical components that will allow to build, and maintain, the body you want all while becoming a stronger, most awesome version of yourself.
Question: Do you discuss nutrition?
Answer: Yep. Nutrition, or Eating to Be Awesome as it’s referred to, is covered. You’ll discover exactly how to eat to be awesome, why you should avoid diets and other obsessive eating habits at all costs (and how to do so), and 6 super simple, flexible guidelines for eating to be awesome that will allow you to get the results you want without unnecessary stress. Finally, there’s also a section on Eating to Be Awesome Goals so you know exactly what to strive for.
Question: Why do you discuss “mindset” and why is it such a big part of the Train to Be Awesome Guide?
Answer: Because when you can get your mind in the right place, then everything else is super easy. How you think about your body image, the food you eat, and your workouts can make a drastic impact on your physical results. It’s also important for forging greater self-confidence. When you get this right – and I show you EXACTLY how in the Guide — then you’ll build the body you want and will love. You’ll also be able to maintain it long-term. Do not underestimate the power and importance of getting your mind in the right place FIRST. It makes a tremendous difference.
Question: Do I need any special equipment?
Answer: Not at all. You can do the entire program with barbells and/or dumbbells. Some exercises do use a suspension trainer, but if you don’t have one I provide alternative exercises with video demonstrations. Please see the next question below for more information.
Question: Can I do the workouts at home?
Answer: If you have dumbbells in a variety of weights and/or a barbell set, then absolutely. Please note the program does use a back extension machine, cable machine, chin-up bar, and some other equipment such as a suspension trainer, but as long as you have dumbbells or a barbell set, you can easily perform an appropriate exercise alternative. If you need specific guidance with appropriate alternatives, send me an email and I’ll help you out.
Question: How long will I be required to work out, and how long does each workout last?
Answer: You’ll only do 3-4 workouts per week; you can choose either option and I show you exactly how to do both. Each workout, including the warm-up, takes about 40-45 minutes to complete.
Question: What if I can’t do certain exercises in the program?
Answer: I intentionally use exercises that most people can do safely. There are also alternative exercises as well. For example, you will have the option between a barbell back squat or a goblet squat.

Speaking of unique…
What makes it unique?
Many things, actually. The Train to Be Awesome Guide is all about building a great body, but without focusing on that goal. I know it’s confusing, but allow me to explain. For example, the main focus of the accompanying strength training program is to get stronger and improve your performance. Each workout you’ll strive to do a little better than last time. It’s not about getting tired or achieving as much fatigue as possible – it’s about getting stronger, building yourself up, and becoming even more awesome.
It’s also unique in the fact that you won’t track the typical markers as with most fitness regimens. It may seem daunting, but you won’t step on a scale or even take measurements. Instead you’ll focus on POSITIVE, performance orienting markers that you’ll track throughout the program. Specifically, you’ll track your squat (either barbell or goblet), number of push-ups and chin-ups (or inverted rows), and the number of swings you can perform in a set period of time. You’ll also track some subjective markers such as energy levels and how your favorite pair of jeans (or dress) fits.
When THOSE things improve, THEN you’ll also reap the body transforming results you want. But this way, they’re just a wonderful side effect from becoming stronger and more awesome.
There are also some simple, flexible, DIET-FREE, nutrition guidelines.
